Christopher Phillips began his career in Dallas, TX with Cornerstone Natural Gas. His responsibilities included business development building and gathering producer gas but primarily consisted of trading on the intrastate natural gas desk. Cornerstone Natural Gas went on to sell in a cash transaction to El Paso Energy. Following the sale Mr. Phillips has successfully been involved in the creation of multiple businesses with a proven track record of building profitability and value. The variety successful ventures includes Texla Energy Management, a gas marketing company where he helped grow the start up to representing over 300 independent natural gas operators and revenues in excess of $100MM annually, Phillips Royalty Partners 1&2, a series of Oil & Gas Royalty Funds he funded by raising $6MM and grew the value to $12MM before divesting during the first run of oil prices above $100.bbl. Most recently he started Phillips Energy Partners 1&2 (PEP) where he now focuses most of his attention. PEP is a royalty/mineral fund with a combined private equity commitment of $90MM and participates in the acquisition and aggregation of minerals in 11 states. PEP has provided their investors with returns in excess of 30% IRR and is presently engaged in the maturation and acquisition phase of the current portfolios.
Mr. Phillips is also actively involved in the community supporting a variety of charities and presently sits on the board of the Betty and Leonard Phillips Deaf Action Center, Southfield School, Committee Chair for Shreveport Regional Arts Council and the Shreveport Wildcatters. His involvement in professional organizations includes the IPAA, North American Royalty Organization, and the Young Presidents Organization to name a few. He attended the University of Mississippi where he received a Bachelors of Arts in Business and Petroleum Land Management.
Although his commitment to work is a major component of his life, his family is equally as important. Mr. Phillips and his wife Shannon have 3 children, Pierson (6), Betty (4) and Anderson (3).

A graduate of BPCC majoring in Business Administration, Serena is the Head of Division Orders for Phillips Energy Partners, LLC. She started with Phillips in 2009 and her responsibilities include maintaining records, recording deeds, transfer of interests and division order approvals.

Carly Carpenter is the Staff Accountant for Phillips Energy Partners, LLC. She obtained a BS in Accounting from Centenary College in 2008 and worked in public accounting for two years. She began with Phillips in March 2011 and is responsible for monthly financial reporting.

John Cornelius joined Phillips Energy Partners in April 2009 and serves as PEP’s petroleum engineer. His primary role is that of a reservoir engineer doing economic evaluations of interests in producing wells that PEP is considering for acquisition. Prior to joining PEP, Cornelius served in several production and reservoir engineer positions, most notably at Maritech Resources, Nelson Energy, Chaparral Energy, Gaither Petroleum and Pennzoil Exploration and Production. Mr. Cornelius has 16 years of experience working as a petroleum engineer. Cornelius earned his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech and his Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston. He also has B.S. and J.D. degrees from Baylor University.

Tiffany H. Nusbaum has ten years experience in the oil and gas industry. She started her professional oil and gas career back in 2001 with a local exploration company as an Office Manager and GeoTech. In 2005, she then moved on to become a Lease Analyst with one of the major local exploration companies. In October 2010 Phillips Energy Partners hired Mrs. Nusbaum to work in the Business Development Department, organizing and managing deal flow along with working closely with potential Sellers in the acquisition process. Mrs. Nusbaum is also a Licensed Notary Public in and for Bossier, Caddo, Bienville, Claiborne, DeSoto, and Webster Parishes.

Collin Phillips has been in the Business Development Department at Phillips Energy Partners, LLC since its first commitment of $35 Million from Encap Investments where he has been on the front lines of all the acquisitions; analyzing and evaluating royalty packages and now runs the closing department. Before becoming employed at Phillips Energy Partners, he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Southern Arkansas University. Collin has been involved with the Oil & Gas business from a young age due to the fact that his Family has been in the Exploration and Production business for over 80 years. Collin has worked alongside the land and engineering departments at Phillips Energy since his first internship in May of 2000 and has been able to apply the knowledge from the E&P end of the business to royalty acquisitions. He also has gained knowledge of midstream end of the business through his family's investments in companies such as Energy Transfer (ETE) where they were in on the ground floor, coupling that with what he has learned from his brother who helped start Texla Energy, a gas marketing company.
Collin Phillips is a member of the AAPL, ETAPL, ALTPL, IPAA and the local Wildcatter's organization. He is actively involved in his community working with local organizations such as the Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) and The Betty and Leonard Phillips Deaf Action center where he has been a Board member since 2009.

Elizabeth Sandifer started with Phillips in 2008 and is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions. Elizabeth has 11 years experience in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. She obtained a BS in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University and is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants.

Tim Stinson began his career following Louisiana Tech University in litigation management. He was a principal and partner in Choice Copy Service, located in Shreveport, LA from 1993-2001. He then opened a second location in Houston, Texas all while continuing to oversee management at the Shreveport, LA location. Tim successfully oversaw sales and operations in both locations for 13 years. In 2006, Tim opened Focus Case Management Solutions, specializing in a more complex litigation management tools such as creating custom and interactive databases and prepped law firms for trail. In 2009, Tim was presented with an offer to move back to Shreveport, LA and return to the oil and gas industry, as his family is in the industry. Tim successfully sold his current litigation support business in Houston and moved back to Shreveport. Tim currently works in the business department and oversees marketing and events. He currently lives in Shreveport, LA with his wife, Sheri, and son, Knox.

Laura Thompson is a Senior Financial Analyst at Phillips Energy Partners, LLC. She started with Phillips in 2010 and her responsibilities include investor reporting, production and revenue forecasting, and creation of documents for the board’s approval. She obtained a BS in Accounting from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2008 and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from Louisiana State University – Baton Rouge in 2010.

Billie W. Tillman joined Phillips Energy Partners (PEP) in March 2007 as Executive Assistant to the President, Christopher Phillips. Ms. Tillman was one of the core group members instrumental in organizing and setting up the PEP corporate office. Prior to joining PEP, Billie had over 15 years working as an Executive Assistant in the medical, manufacturing and petroleum industries. She attended Northwestern State University majoring in business education. She is actively involved as Vice-President of a private investment group and is a Master Gardner. Billie is President/Owner of Office Organizer, a business consulting service, providing startup advice to new businesses as well as effective time management guidelines for corporate management. Ms. Tillman is a Certified Professional Secretary and a Louisiana Notary Public.

Amanda has worked for Phillips Energy Partners since March of 2010, after relocating to the Shreveport/Bossier City area from Mississippi. Her primary duties are Accounts Payable and Payroll. After six years in the military, Amanda is now pursuing a degree in Technical Management with concentration in Accounting. After completion of her BA, Amanda plans to pursue a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance and take the CPA exam.
